River Allen

River Allen is a video artist, musician, and community organizer who loves to foster joyful learning spaces with youth. They have worked as an after-school teacher since 2017 in California, North Carolina, and Tennessee, and they are beyond excited to join Black Pine Circle’s EDP team this school year. River graduated with a B.A in film & cultural studies from McGill University in 2015. They enjoy spending time in the garden, swimming in large bodies of water, and playing outdoor games.
